Catherine: Full Body Announced for PS4 and Vita

Atlus has announced that Catherine is being remastered for the PS4 and the PlayStation Vita, and will release with the subtitle "Full Body", a reference to wine and how this version of the game will provide a much "fuller", richer experience.

This comes as an interesting surprise after Atlus teased a project relating to Catherine back in August. What's even more surprising than the fact that Catherine: Full Body will be playable on the Vita, is that the game will feature an additional female character named "Rin".

Details from an article in Famitsu Magazine reveal that in Catherine: Full Body, Rin is a pianist working at the Stray Sheep bar that protagonist, Vincent, commonly frequents. Rin will be a gentler character compared to Catherine and Katherine, and her narrative role will be split between the two other supporting females.

On top of a new character, Catherine: Full Body will include cross-save functionality between the PS4 and the Vita, additional difficulty settings, new puzzle solving mechanics, more story chapters, and additional endings.

The game is about half-way completed according to publisher Atlus, so it may be some time before additional information is revealed.

We'll be sure to share any updates with you as we learn more.
