Shawn Layden Teases Another Classic - MediEvil Returns

Shawn Layden Teases Another Classic - MediEvil Returns

When Shawn Layden first took to the stage at E3, he accidentally teased everyone with images of Vib-Ribbon and was later responsible for getting the game released in the US for the first time as a digital download on PS3 and Vita. After that first blunder, he's been teasing classic games ever since. Most recently he has teased such classics as Crash Bandicoot and WipEout by walking out on stage during press conferences with those games represented on his T-Shirt. Later, each game would be re-released in some modern fashion.

This year, at PlayStation Experience 2017, Shawn Layden walked out on stage wearing a T-shirt... as well as a jacket zipped closed covering the image. Audience members yelled, "TAKE IT OFF!" and eventually the image beneath was revealed: A graveyard scene featuring a tombstone marked "Sir Dan".

Here's the teaser trailer for MediEvil, which premiered at PlayStation Experience 2017.

Moments later, a short teaser was shown on the screen. MediEvil is being remastered for the PlayStation 4. The game will be presented in 4K. There weren't many additional details shared other than the message "More Details Soon". Hopefully we'll hear more in the near future.

Now, I wonder what Shawn Layden's next teased reveal will be…

(Please be Resistance or Motorstorm collections on PS4. Or Spyro. Or… really, any number of classic PlayStation games. Basically, anything ever released on anything should eventually be available everywhere. Please. Shawn Layden. Make it happen.)
