UPDATE: MORE THAN FRIENDS HAS A RETAIL SPACE (and more!)
Have I ever mentioned that I’m a mess?
Well…
~I’m a mess ~
In June my grandfather passed away, Alex went on paternity leave, and Chris had some personal stuff to deal with. So, I was all emotional (as usual I suppose) and I no longer had my co-hosts for the podcasts. Around the same time I was working out some business deals for a new-fangled retail space for More Than Friends.
Long story short - I was a busy, emotional ball of stress. (More so than usual) and somewhere in the midst of all of that I forgot to pay my subscription for the website. This means that our podcasts were not available for like 3 1/2 months!
Whoops!
But - Good news: I fixed it!
And now things can go back to relative normalcy.
So, since I’ve been gone, here are some updates:
More Than Friends Retail Space!
Yes, this is a legit thing now! More Than Friends now has a retail space! We’re collaborating with Artifact at Newport on the Levee and you can now purchase curated items from More Than Friends IN PERSON! (Chances are you’ll see me there too!) If you visit, you’ll recognize some prints from back when More Than Friends first started - and you’ll also find some other curated works from other local artists, plus a bunch of fun pop-culture collectibles and things. (Because I can’t help it - I love that stuff!)
Come to Newport on the Levee inside The Gallery (the building with the movie theater) and come see us!
Podcasts
I know… we haven’t had new episodes for Dual Senses or Pw/B for a little while. We hear you, and the podcasts will be returning. We don’t have an exact date yet, but Alex, Chris, and myself are figuring things out. Just know that these shows will be making a return - and, there may even be some new shows on the horizon. (more on that in the future.)
For those of you who have had some difficulty listening to the shows the past few months, I sincerely apologize. That’s entirely my fault because I forgot to renew the website subscription, and our podcast episodes are hosted through this website. The episodes should be available for listening again on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Be sure to subscribe / follow so that you’ll get the new episodes when they become available.
Online Shop
Sneak Preview of some upcoming items for the online shop! ;)
The online shop has been kinda the same for a while now… but that’s going to be changing in the coming days! Now that we’ve got a physical retail space (see above) and a steadily growing inventory, it’s time for us to put some more things on our online shop! Keep an eye out for some new items being made available for those of you who aren’t able to shop with us in person in Newport on the Levee.

Searching for artists, creators, and wholesalers!
Now that the site is back up and running and we’ve got ourselves a retail space, we’re doing some curating! If you’re an artist, content creator, crafter, wholesaler, or certified weirdo - we want to hear from you!
More Than Friends is looking to expand our offerings whether it’s new product, artists to showcase, or new content creators to join our platform! The goal is to continue to grow our product and content offerings and provide a space for diverse creative folks to do their thing and celebrate the things that they love!
This can be anything.
Seriously. If you have a dream project, we want to hear about it - and we’ll see if there’s any way More Than Friends can help make it happen!

Okay - I think that about sums up the updates for now!
Sorry again for the delay with everything. Turns out setting up a retail space, even a small one, can be a lot of work! But, this just means that we’re positioned better than ever before to grow GROW GROW!
