Soul Calibur VI Announced

Katsuhiro Harada and Motohiro Okubo, two project leads on Tekken 7, took to the stage at The 2017 Game Awards to make a very special announcement for fighting game fans.

"Working together with Harada-san I felt a great responsibility to continue Tekken's legacy of developing the most dynamic and hard hitting action within the fighting game category." Okubo told the audience, "This was no easy task, but I truly believe we succeeded in fulfilling that goal. Utilizing the lessons I learned on Tekken 7 I'm ready to fully take charge of a new project."

Welcome back to The Stage of History! SOULCALIBUR VI is coming to PS4, XB1, and Steam in 2018. Check out the announcement trailer and get ready for the triumphant return of 3D weapons-based fighting. Before we leave the stage, I have one question for our fans out there; Do your souls still burn? - Motohiro Okubo
