Announced at the 2017 Game Awards, Bayonetta 1 and 2 are coming to Nintendo Switch. Initially, Bayonetta was released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2010, and Bayonetta 2 released exclusively on Wii U in 2014. Bayonetta 1 was released alongside Bayonetta 2 for Wii U, featuring Nintendo themed costumes as a bonus. Bayonetta 2 releases on the Nintendo Switch February 16th, 2018. The physical copy of the game includes a digital download of Bayonetta.

Also announced was that Bayonetta 3 is in development exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. There are few details about the game, aside that it will be developed by Platinum Games. There is no word yet on a release date.
